The Booking Process
Here’s what to expect when working with me. I work hard to make every portrait session easy and fun. When you inquire, here’s what you can expect to happen next.
01 | Inquire & Book
To get started, all you need to do is fill out the contact form and get in touch. I’ll email you back within 48 hours to continue the conversation! You can also book your portrait session directly with the book now button.
02 | Session Day
If you are booking a mini session, then the date and location has been chosen. If you are booking a full portrait session, then we’ll decide on a time and place, and I’ll send you resources to plan your session. Then all you have to do is show up and make awesome memories with your family!
03 | Editing Time
After the session, it will take me about 2-3 weeks to edit the photos. All photos are edited for color correction, lighting, and minimal skin softening. There are options for extra retouching for an additional fee and you can contact me for more details about it.
04 | Photo Delivery
Finally, digital items will be delivered in a gallery where you can download files! You will also be able to order print products through your gallery.

Session details:
Location varies by the theme and date. Some sessions are held in my studio and others are different studios or outdoor location. Please check my booking website for all the themes, dates, locations.
Digital download of photos ready within 2-3 weeks.
The amount of digital files varies on the collection you purchase.
Christmas Mini Session Retainer Payment: A retainer payment of is due to secure your time slot and the balance is due one day before the session. PLEASE NOTE: THE RETAINER PAYMENT IS NON REFUNDABLE & IS SET IN PLACE TO HOLD YOUR SPOT.

01 | How far in advance should I book my family portraits?
In general, I book about 3-6 weeks in advance. Be sure to reach out, because some seasons are busier than others, and occasionally I’ll have a last minute opening even during the busy season. Use my contact page to inquire about availability!
02 | Why should we choose you instead of another Dallas family photographer?
Ultimately the choice comes down to your preferences and how well you get along with the photographer. I work hard to make sure that I offer every family an experience to remember.
03 | What do we do if it rains on the day of our session?
In the case of inclement weather, you will have the choice of rescheduling to the next available date, or moving to an indoor location.
04 | How much should I budget for family photos?
While my session fees start at $400, your budget will depend on what you hope to do with your photos. I offer a variety of products, both digital and physical. My most popular package is $2,800 and includes an album, wall art canvas, and digital files.
